Job Description: Kettle Corn Popper and Cashier We are currently seeking individuals to join our team as kettle corn poppers and cashiers for our location at the Walmart AMP concerts, University of Arkansas Razorback sports venues (including football), Bikes Blues and BBQ, War Eagle Craft Fair, and more. This gig opportunity is available starting from September 9, 2023. As a kettle corn popper and cashier, you will play a vital role in providing delicious kettle corn treats to event attendees while ensuring smooth transactions at the point of sale. Responsibilities: 1. Kettle Corn Popping: Your primary responsibility will be operating the kettle corn popping equipment efficiently and safely. This includes measuring and pouring the necessary ingredients, monitoring cooking times, and ensuring the quality of the kettle corn produced. You will need to follow established recipes and techniques to consistently deliver tasty kettle corn. 2. Cashier Duties: As a cashier, you will handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. This involves operating a cash register or point-of-sale system, processing payments, providing change, issuing receipts, and maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Excellent math skills are essential for this role. 3. Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service is crucial in this position.
